Journalism, or not?

It is completely logical that, a news paper reader want to see the visual news. Think of a television news, which a reporter only tells you what happend and you see nothing. That won't be sufficent. But the media may be using this for their own benefits. It changes according to our point of view. We can think that they are showing the people what the world really is and what is really happening or we can also think they are abusing the situation to win just a tropy. Taking the photograph of a girl which is going to die in a few hours is ethical or not? Maybe i can't answer that question, but i think, actually i hope, the reporter must have been thought once more time before he takes this photo.

  1. You can read exactly what the photographer (Frank Fournier) thought; I uploaded an article about him on SU Course...

  2. I totally agree with you. In addition to your comments I also think that without image, which mostly gives the feeling better than an article, convince the reader better the truth of the incident. Actually within abusing people may need to be worn, however the thing is doing all for money is the non-ethical part. Actually I do not believe that all photographers do their jobs only for earning more money. It should not be forgotten that, the people who take these photos have enough hard time while taking the photo.
